Nadine is a senior yoga teacher in Sydney, Australia, who has brought her unique blend of yoga to people of all ages while in India, America, the UK and Australia. She is passionate about supporting women and their families and has done so through some of the most challenging moments in their lives. Her training and influences in yoga are far and wide and her teaching reflects that.
Nadine and her family: partner Jay and daughters Indigo and Aiya, have been part of the Steiner community in the UK and then in Australia since Indigo was 6 months old (she is now 12). The teachings of Rudolf Steiner have firmly helped shape their beliefs, while Steiner rhythms and celebrations have guided and nourished family life.
Nadine believes that by building calm and connected families, we will help create a more balanced world.
Jay is trained as a psychotherapist with a special interest in the language of mythology and the martial application of tai chi.
He has been dedicated to the practice of tai chi for under Master Richard Hamlin in London since 2000. He currently teaches tai chi to children and adults on the Northern Beaches and applies his skills in the practice of kung fu.
Jay also practices field archery as a form of active physical meditation.
Jay and Nadine have two daughters and do their best to create a life in balance between their community at Kamaroi Steiner School and their home on Scotland Island.
